The Phoenix Care At Home Service provides a service of personal care, maintaining dignity at all times, allowing self respect to any adult with a disability, living in the community, whether alone or within a family group.
The service aims to reduce social isolation and provide support for carers. The service provides flexible packages of personal care, shopping, meal preparation, domestic duty laundry, outings or overnight care.
The service provides care to older people, people with dementia, adults with mental health problems, adults with learning difficulties, adults with physical difficulties, adults with sensory impairment, adults with HIV/AIDS, adults who are terminally ill, adults with illness other than terminal and adults recovering from illness.

Move Heavy FurnitureWash Down Walls and Ceilings
Clean Outside Windows
Gardening or Car Cleaning
Change Plugs
BY ARRANGEMENT THE SERVICE CAN:
Transport Service Users for Shopping Trips, (Mileage will be Charged)Clean Internal Windows (If They Can Be Reached From The Floor)
Defrost Fridge/Freezer
Walk The Dog
Write Letters or Cards
Clean Out A Range Of Cupboards
WHAT THE SERVICE EXPECTS OF OUR SERVICE USERS:
Supply of Suitable Cleaning MaterialsEnsure All Electrical Appliances Are In A Safe Working Order
Ensure Adequate Household Insurance, Especially If You Have Valuable Items
Let Your Phoenix Care Home Manager Know If You Are Unhappy With Any Aspect Of Our Service
Our Support Workers have training in Manual Handling, Infection Control, Emergency Aid, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Risk Assessment, Fire, Protection Of Vulnerable Adults, Disability Equality Training, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, and some are working towards their NVQ Level 2/Level 3 in care. We have our own NVQ Assessor D32. D33.
We employ all our support workers so you have no concern over their Tax and National Insurance. They are all trained in mandatory subjects to give you a quality service, which you can trust. We can help you apply for statutory benefits if you wish, to help pay for your care.
Our fees include mileage to your home within a given radius. Mileage for shopping or outings will be charged at 25 pence per mile.
