Service Users Guide

A referral may be made to request our service, privately or through direct payments, or through social services. One of the directors will make an initial visit to your home to assess your needs, complete a risk assessment and discuss with you what care you would like, and together will complete a care plan. Specific information on key policies and procedures will be discussed.

The office is open from Monday to Friday 9.00am to 3.00pm - closed for lunch from 1.00pm to 2.00pm and there is a mobile number to use, to contact the service out of office hours. The office number is 01271 816577 and the mobile number is 07814814409.

The Phoenix Care At Home service provides a domiciliary care service to adults living alone or within a family group. We provide all aspects of care to include, personal care, meal preparation, shopping, domestic tasks, sitting, overnight care, or dog walking.

By providing support workers, our aim is to enable an individual to remain living independently, in their own home for as long as possible. We try to prevent or alleviate the stress of relatives and friends, who have the continuing care of a person.

Invoices are sent out every 4 weeks, in arrears. Please pay within 7 days (by cheque made payable to Phoenix Care At Home Ltd) and posted to 2 Caen Shopping Centre, Braunton, North Devon, EX33 1EE.

Phoenix Care At Home has full employers liability insurance and also public liability insurance, with products liability and malpractice liability.

All clients, carers and prospective clients may inspect our statement of purpose, which is on display in Phoenix Care At Home Ltd reception area.

Our quality assurance process is achieved by phoenix care at home welcoming clients views. We ask our clients to complete a client satisfaction questionaire once a year. We regularly see our clients, allowing clients the opportunity to discuss any concerns with us. All our staff receive regular supervision,training, personal development reviews, have direct observations, and attend staff meetings, to ensure they are delivering the best possible care.

We have a complaints procedure, a copy of which will be provided to you prior to our service commencing, which we encourage our clients to follow, should they have a complaint, as we are always striving to maintain best possible practice. You may inspect the statement of purpose at any time, which is on display in the Phoenix Care At Home Ltd office.
